Located at 1115 Walnut St, Philadelphia, PA 19107, Masala kitchen : Kati rolls and Platters operates as an indian restaurant serving Philadelphia in Pennsylvania. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Google also lists it under fast food restaurant, which is worth knowing if you are comparing several options in the area.

Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Philadelphia, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across Pennsylvania run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

Philadelphia is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Philadelphia is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Pennsylvania's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I ordered three rolls: the Paneer Masala, Chicken Masala, and Chicken Tawa. All three were absolutely delicious and packed with flavor! The Chicken Tawa was a bit on the spicy side, but I still really enjoyed it. The ingredients tasted fresh, the rolls were well made, and every bite was satisfying. I had a great experience overall and can't wait to come back to try more from the menu. Highly recommend if you're looking for flavorful kati rolls!

I used to love the chicken and rice here. Didn't visit for a long time. Tried it again last month and then last week, but it was pretty bad both times. The chicken was very pale, chopped into bits so fine, you couldn't really tell what it was. And it tasted strange. I hoped the first bad visit was just a bad day for them. Tossed it. But last week was exactly the same. Ended up trashing that, too. No more, thank you.

Inexpensive, tasty Indian quick bites. Kati rolls and platters are excellent and filling. Spice levels and flavors are perfect. Samosas are a bit small, but flavorful. Hot sauce and white sauce available at the condiment/cutlery station. Ambiance could be better - no decor or music. Ordering tablets facing side wall is not very welcoming. Also, the tablets do not provide descriptions of the items, but the front counter does have a printed menu on it with descriptions. One minor annoyance is that there is a charge if you select hot sauce or white sauce when you order on the tablets, but those sauces are free at the condiment station behind you. It would be nice if employees were trained to be cheerful and interact more with customers. Overall, very flavorful, freshly prepared food at reasonable prices. Will definitely be back!

I recently visited this Indian food junction in Philadelphia and was pleasantly surprised by their delicious kati rolls. I opted for the Chicken Keema roll, which was incredibly tasty. While I selected to have it as a take away order, I found the atmosphere of the place to be rather bland. The walls were almost empty, and I believe there’s potential for them to be repurposed to showcase the brand’s story and create a more inviting ambiance. Nevertheless, if you’re looking for a casual spot to enjoy some Indian food and engage in a friendly conversation, this place is a great choice. I’m eager to try more dishes here in the future, but for now, the Chicken Keema kati rolls were absolutely delicious.

I got a to go order of the masala roll in brown "bread" with eatra onions. The sauces were kinda meh. I've had a lot of fast food Indian food - most of it toyally sucks. This is literally the only time I've had good fusion Indian fast food. I thought the food was gonna suck. Wow. Blown away. It was spicy, flavorful, light... I can't say enough good things about this place. Good on you!
